The CCS varsity boys basketball team scored a hard fought victory over rival FCA on the road by a score of 51 to 50. From the start of the game it looked like the game was going to be a blowout in favor of the Colts who ended up leading at the end of the 1st quarter 18 to 10, but the Falcons had other ideas and stormed back to take a 21 to 20 halftime lead. FCA increased their lead to 6 points taking a 37 to 31 lead at the start of the 4th quarter. That is when the Colts turned up the defensive effort and fought back to take the one point win.Ellis Bass led the Colts with 16 points. Logan Johnson added 15 on several acrobatic lay ups and big man Asher Nix pitched in with 10 points of hisown. Ollie Campbell led all scores with 23 for the Falcons.
