CCS Cheer is made up of students that attend CCS as well as Home-schooled students that school under the CCS homeschool umbrella. Varsity Cheer - grades 9-12, Coached by Shelayne McDaniel(requires try out - try outs are in April)  Our Varsity squad comes under the Universal Cheer Association in procedure and safety guidelines.  Our Varsity squad attends UCA camp every summer. CCS Varsity Cheer is a performance and stunting squad that cheers at all CCS Varsity football and basketball games - home and away. You will see our Squads cheering on the sidelines during the games and also bringing excellent halftime shows that are sure to be a crowd pleaser. UCA All American status is an honor given to select cheerleaders who have exemplified showmanship, poise, technique and overall cheerleading skills.
These cheerleaders are given invitation to participate in prestigious UCA events in Orlando, Florida, New York, NY and London, England. in 2020, 10 CCS Varsity Cheerleaders made the UCA All-American squad

JV Cheer - grades 6-10, Coached by Shelayne McDaniel(requires try out - try outs are in April) Our JV squad comes under the Universal Cheer Association in procedure and safety guidelines. CCS JV cheer is a performance and stunting squad that cheers at all CCS JV home football and basketball games. Our JV and Varsity Cheer squads participate in school pep rallies and are the smiling faces families see at CCS school functions like open house and back to school nights.
