In what seemed at times to be a WWE heavyweight title fight the CCS Colts boys varsity team played enough basketball to come out with a 53 to 39 home court win against the Knights from Franklin Classical. Logan Johnson led the Colts in scoring with 15 points and some tenacious defense while also taking multiple charges. Senior Ellis Bass added 12 points and provided excellent pressure on the Knights guards. Junior Asher Nix added 7 points for the Colts. At the start of the 3rd quarter the Colts led 24 to 16 and at the end of the quarter the score was 30 to 20 as both teams seemed to forget where there goal was. The situation was completely different in the 4th quarter as a combined 42 points were scored with CCS knocking down multiple free throws to keep the Knights at bay.
