The CCS Colts boys varsity basketball team won their quarterfinal round game with the Lancaster Knights 51 to 43 by using a high pressure defense and fast paced offense. Four Colts scored in double figures with Logan Johnson and Miles Bernard each scoring 11 points while Asher Nix and Ellis Bass eached had 10 points to highlight a very balanced attack. The Knights jumped out to a 13 to 9 first quarter lead only to see the Colts go into the half leading 30 to 28. In a predominately back and forth game the Colts managed to stretch the lead to the final margin by winning each of the last two quarters by 3 points in each frame.The Knights Alex Daniel was game high scorer with 15 points. The Colts now move on to the semi final round with their opponent to be determined.
