The CCS Lady Colts varsity used 24 steals to top the visiting Lady Knights from Franklin Classical 40 to 7. On a night when the offense was sputtering the Lady Colts turned to their defense to pull out the win. In addition to the steals the Colts had 16 offensive rebounds and 12 pass deflections. Michaela Pinkerman led the Colts with 12 points and 9 rebounds while sophomore Breanna Pugh lit it up from downtown to notch 10 points.Kailey Wright had 7, Olivia Brentlinger dropped 6 including a three pointer from the Walmart parking lot at the halftime buzzer. Alyssa Bellamy had 3 points, Kenadee Osborne got 2 points to go along with tenacious defense in what was an all around team effort for the win.
