The Lady Hawks from Merrol Hyde won a hard fought battle over the CCS Lady Colts by a score of 53 to 42. The Hawks jumped out to a 14 to 5 first quarter lead only to see the Lady Colts come roaring back to only trail by 4 at the end of the third quarter. In the fourth quarter the Hawks used excellent free throw shooting to keep CCS at bay.Peyton Mingle led the Lady Hawks with 23 points. Michaela Pinkerman led the Lady Colts scoring a game high 24 points and grabbing 14 rebounds.Madeline Rigsby and Breanna Pugh each added 6 points while Kailey Wright chipped in with 4. Alyssa Bellamy and Kenadee Osborne each scored one point for the Lady Colts.
