The CCS Lady Colts bounced back from defeat to take a hard fought 40 to 34 win against the visiting Lady Knights from Riverside Christian. The first quarter was a snoozer as both teams only managed 4 points each. Both teams woke up in the second quarter and the Lady Colts went into the half leading 19 to 15. The second half was almost dead even as CCS outscored the Knights by 1 point in each quarter and maintained the lead throughout the half for the final margin. Michaela Pinkerman led the Colts with 14 points and player of the game Breanna Pugh scored 13 points to go with 5 steals to help the cause. Madeline Rigsby added 7 points with 7 rebounds . Kenadee Osborne scored 5 points and gave the team a boost by smothering the Knights point guard all game, with some brilliant help from her buddy Jamee Laywer. A nice team win with 2 regular season games to go.
