The Lady Colts Varsity basketball team spent their Saturday afternoon playing the Lady Patriots from Victory Baptist and coming away with a 53 to 20 win. The Lady Colts used a combination of aggressive full court defense and sharp play on the offensive end to claim the victory. Making only 7 turnovers for the game the offense scored some easy buckets and collected 7 team steals to score a few more baskets. Michaela Pinkerman led the Colts with 18 points. Eight other Colts scored as well in an all around team effort. Olivia Brentlinger scored 12 while Kenadee Osborne added 7. Breanna Pugh had 3 and Madeline Rigsby added 4 to the cause. Lily Weaver and Kailey Wright scored 2 each while Emily Mcclain had 2, Ally Spears had 2 and Holly Olendorf added 1. The Lady Patriots were led by Chloe Metzger with 7.
