The CCS Colts varsity boys basketball team took a trip to Shelbyville and came home with a heartbreaking 60 to 59 loss. The Colts led by 10 at the end of the first quarter and by 6 at the half but were outscored by the Patriots 18 to 10 in the third quarter and the home team traded baskets in the fourth to come away with the victory. Ellis Bass led the Colts with 20 points, Connor Martin added 19 and Logan Johnson and Drew Belcher each scored 5. Israel Lukis led the Patriots scoring a game high 23 points.
